Building or remodeling your home is a big step, and you deserve a team that truly gets it. You want more than just a finished project. You want a smooth experience, a clear plan, and a home that feels authentic. That’s exactly what we’re here for.

At Trinity Homes AZ, our process is designed to keep things simple, organized, and enjoyable. From that first conversation to the day you move in, you’ll always know what’s happening and who to turn to.

We’ll walk with you every step of the way, offering honest guidance, creative insight, and a whole lot of heart. Because your home isn’t just another project — it’s personal.

Our Design-Build Process

Discovery

Your project starts with a phone call, website inquiry, or referral. Our sales team contacts you within 24 hours to learn more and determine fit based on location, scope, and budget. If it’s a match, our General Contractor schedules a site visit to gather details and develop a rough high/low estimate based on square footage and project type.

Within 5–7 days, you’ll receive a preliminary proposal and a Pre-Construction Agreement. To proceed, you’ll sign the agreement and submit a non-refundable fee, which is credited toward your construction costs if you move forward.

Pre-Construction

Once you sign the Pre-Construction Agreement, we dive into the details. You’ll complete a project questionnaire, and we’ll connect you with architects, engineers, and designers based on your needs. Our estimating team gathers trade bids and builds a detailed Line-Item Estimate Budget, including allowances for finishes like lighting and plumbing. The goal is to finalize scope, cost, and timeline.

When ready, you’ll sign a General Contractor Agreement, and your Project Manager takes the lead into Planning, Production, Closeout, and Warranty.

Planning

After the Pre-Construction Handoff Meeting, your Project Manager enters a 30-day planning window. During this time, we organize site logistics like dumpsters, fencing, and portable toilets, and issue purchase orders to our trade partners. We flag any long-lead items and ensure they’re scheduled and ordered on time.

This phase also includes prep work before construction begins such as staking the lot, trenching utilities, or completing any required reviews so your project can move into production without delay.

Production

This is where the real transformation begins. Production starts on-site, usually with demolition, and continues through framing, mechanicals, and trim installation. Your Project Manager provides weekly updates, coordinates any remaining selections, and guides you through key site walks like electrical and tile.

You can track progress through Buildertrend, with daily logs and photos. Once your home is deemed “Substantially Complete” by Trinity Homes AZ or through a Certificate of Occupancy, the project moves into the Closeout phase.

Close Out

Once a Certificate of Occupancy is issued, we create an internal punch list and schedule a Homeowner Orientation Walk. During this walkthrough, we review your completed home and document any final items to be addressed. We typically allow 10 business days to complete the punch list before move-in. At move-in, you’ll receive all warranty documentation, including details on coverage periods and how to request service.

We’ll also provide manuals for appliances, fans, and other installed products to ensure a smooth transition into your new home.

Warranty

Every Trinity Homes AZ project includes a 2-year warranty that meets Arizona Registrar of Contractors standards.

At Closeout, you’ll receive full warranty details and access to your Buildertrend portal, where you can submit service requests. We also schedule two standard check-ins, one at 6 months for general concerns and another at 11 months to address common settlement items like drywall cracks. Our team handles all warranty claims with promptness and care, ensuring you feel supported long after move-in.
